So lots going on as the website takes shape and things begin to heat up in the RPG universe. Firms are getting their kickstarters under way and two of note that I think might be of intereset:
Mutant Chronicles - A relaunch of an old classic - Modiphius unleashes the Dark Legion in the 3rd edition of the dieselpunk sci-fi RPG with brand new content & cinematic rules. See it here. ***Breaking news - Jay Little (Edge of Empire) is to lead the development team for this RPG***
Shadows of Esetren - Book 4 - Tuath - the fourth book of the Shadows of Esteren series. It is focused on the Temple faction and features a large investigation scenario inspired by The Name of the Rose, as well as several game aids. see it here
I have backed both and hope to review them ASAP. I will also be reviewing all the Achtung Cthulhu books soon an have just reviewed Mindjammer that you can find here.
As the convention season starts, i will be in Canterbury (Kent UK) on 1st March for the university convention. It is very small but fun!
I will also be looking to book up my UKGames Expo tickets and be looking for the RPG slots. But with some great guest speakers this year (Monte Cook, Chris Barrie), I will have to schedule carefully!!!

Hi all – hope you are well….
Right that’s the pleasantries out of the way!! So apologies for my lack of communication but life has been in the way. Family, work, health, other activities (I am a school governor) have all got in the way. I was also a little overwhelmed with all this going on as to how to get the site to where I want it to be when working on it on my own (I am not a web designer – obviously!!)
However despite my lack on the site, I have not been idle with the hobby I love. I have bought a heap of old TSR books from eBay and with my good friend and fellow knight Sir Animal, we now have a copy of every official D&D 1E and we are now working through 2E. So watch out for some retro-reviews.
In addition I have picked up a lot of the RPGs I backed via Kickstarter. Achtung Cthulhu, Cthulhu 7th edition, I am Zombie, Orbis Terranum and Shadows of Esteren have all received backing from me and I am now backing Mutant Chronicles. I will fully review them as they arrive so you can see what you missed and whether they are worth you chasing down.
Also I started a Rise of the Runelords Pathfinder campaign. I am the GM and as I searched through broken links and inappropriate submissions through Paizo and other sites, I realised that this is part of what my site should be. A place to find the resources you want in one place! I am now working through the adventure paths but it will take time so bear with me……
To re-cap, there is plenty to come – new editions of classics and further releases from older and newer kids on the block that I want to get and review. And I have not even mentioned the next adventure path set in Osirion (Golarion’s ancient Egypt)…… As an amateur Egyptologist I WILL BE WATCHING!!!!!
Grab your dice, click your mouse and I hope you enjoy the ride.
